In Trello, it is recommended to use Butler automation to make rules, buttons to ease your management of the boards and lists, tasks, members, due dates etc.

Intelligent automation tips and many more are found on ”automate your work with Butler” available on trello.com/butler-automation such as :

  • When a card is created in a “To Do” list, add the “Steps” checklist
  • When you enter a card name ending with a date, set the card to be due on that date
  • When a card is marked as “Done,” automatically mark the due date as complete, cross off checklist items, and remove members
  • When all cards from a list are marked ”Done”, create the button to archive the whole list
