Lesson 1 Why It Is Important to Go Paperless

Nowadays, technology has made going paperless easier than ever and the benefits of cutting out the paper in a business are substantial. Not only is this an eco-friendly approach, but it is convenient, it saves space, money and increases efficiency.

Although there are lots of advantages of going paperless, there are some drawbacks too. It is not always easy to make the transition as there are many issues to consider,  from the security and privacy risks to the data storage costs. Upgrading your hardware and software, training new users, performing backups of their documents are all expenses one should consider when going paperless.

We should all understand the positive impact a paper- reduced society would have on the environment and act accordingly. to actively reduce the usage of paper in order to protect the planet where we live, help save forests, reduce our business carbon footprint and reduce waste.
